| The Gulf States Living History Association and Liendo Plantation are sponsoring the Eighth Annual "Civil War Weekend' at Liendo Platation November 21th through the 23th of 2008. Over 1000 re-enactors from though out the United States and over 1000 Statewide High School Students are expected to Pre-Register for this years event. Several thousand spectators are also expected once again to visit and experience this unique chapter in American History as the story of the Civil War is told through the re-enacting of the American Civil War and its impact on the development of our nation.
Exhibit/Vendor spaces are available in specific areas for Arts, Crafts, Antiques, Food, etc. The booth fee is $50.00 online, or $75.00 at gate per business. Gate pass will be mailed upon receipt of booth fee. Booth spaces are roughly 15 X 15 in outside areas. The event will provide space only. Exhibitors/Vendors are required to provide their own tents, displays, tables, chairs, etc., all of which may be ordered in advance through the festival on a rental fee basis.
Exhibitors must be set up by 8:30 AM Saturday November 21th. However, Exhibitors may set up Friday Morning by 8:30 AM if you wish to be open during the "School Day". Exhibitors may set up Thursday evening with advance notice to the festival. Please make your travel arrangements to arrive BEFORE sunset.Some security will be on site. Exhibitors are encouraged to dress in period Civil War Attire and the carry the period theme in their booth space. This, however, is not a requirement for participation.
Exhibitors will be allowed to move out ONLY AFTER 3:00 PM ON SUNDAY, November 23th. No Exceptions please. Failure to comply could result in not being allowed to participate in future events at Liendo.
